Our providers have served in the military or worked with veterans at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which gives them unique insight into the healthcare needs of our nation’s veterans and their families. At First Class Primary Care and Wellness Center, our goal is to make quality medical care accessible and affordable for our former brothers and sisters in arms. This is especially critical as the VA faces numerous resource challenges that make it difficult to deliver timely, quality healthcare to veterans. We’re here to help fill that gap.
Meet Dr. Ivorique Turner
Ivorique O. Turner, DO
CEO, Medical Director
As the former assistant chief medical officer of the Jacksonville VA Outpatient Clinics, Dr. Ivorique Turner had the amazing opportunity to serve our nation’s veterans as both a physician and administrator. Now, as the CEO and medical director of a minority-, woman-, and veteran-owned small business, she has an ongoing mission to improve access to healthcare for veterans.
Dr. Turner is a board-certified family medicine physician and 15-year U.S. Navy veteran with combat experience. She is excited to serve her fellow veterans, delivering the quality healthcare they deserve. Trained by the best in Navy medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, Dr. Turner’s clinical skills are well-rounded and include aspects of pediatrics, internal medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology.
Dr. Turner is most proud of her reputation for an impeccable bedside manner, with both patients and colleagues, for which she has received numerous honors. As a physician who embodies the values of honor, courage, and commitment, Dr. Turner is prepared to work hard to exceed her patients’ expectations for quality healthcare and exceptional customer service.
Our Nurse Practitioners
Jerleshia Fields, ARNP-BC is a family nurse practitioner with experience in medical-surgical, progressive, and cardiovascular care, as well as in operating room and home health settings. She received his bachelor’s and master’s nursing degrees from the University of Phoenix in Jacksonville, Florida, and her family nurse practitioner post-master certificate from Indiana State University in Terra Haute, Indiana.
